After a number of smaller gigs, we are booked to host a social evening in Kerang at St Joseph's Primary School for the parents and children.

Getting ready for gigs can be a long drawn out stretch at times. Going over songs to get them just right, completely forgetting how songs start and stop (and the lead breaks in the middle) etc. etc.
Last night, as we prepared for the Maureen Considine Charity gig at the All Seasons on Saturday night (20th Aug), we were saving Emily's voice a bit and did a very English version of Nutbush. Ben decided he needed a little change in his routine - the resultant video (found on our Facebook page) was the result. Click Here to view Ben at his Nutbush Best! After a whirlwind three weeks, during which the band added 8 new songs and turned half our set list into an acoustic arrangement, Saintz@MarkIII had the honour and privilege of performing at the wedding of Stacey and Trav on March the 5th. With Busta and Adam away on other duties, the remaining members entertained the guests with some great new songs for us and even managed to do a couple of requests we had never done before! An acoustic set has added a new string to our bow and we look forward to being prepared for any occasion that may arise - the full band sound, to an acoustic ensemble! On Sunday the 7th of Feb, 2016, Saintz@MarkIII showcased themselves at the All Seasons Wedding Expo - a first for us all.
There were a variety of Wedding based industries at the Expo, and we were able to speak to many prospective brides, bridesmaides, partners and parents. It was fantastic to meet so many people who were getting really excited about their 'big day', however far away it was! Our site looked great thanks to Rochelle and Emily, and we had two great prizes to give away. Many thanks to the talented florists at LIBERTINE in Chancery Lane Bendigo for the spectacular modern arrangement and to Kelly at ZEST HEALTH and WELLBEING in Queen St Bendigo for providing some divine stress relief to one lucky 'Bride to Be'. The Marong Cup was hot again this year and the issue of having to stop every time the horses appeared is captured in this video below. If you have never been to a Marong Cup and you live in Bendigo, make sure you get along and check it out. Fantastic day for families with rides, races and live music! What's not to love? As we prepare for our second Marong Cup outing, we have been thrown into Rod's basement to record a number of songs. After we conducted a poll about which songs we would like to record, 6 songs stood out. I won't give away what they are just yet, but as soon as they are ready, they will appear on our website! Having headphones and listening to everything so closely was a challenge, but we handled it well and I think the results will be good! Check back here soon! Saturday 14th of November signalled the end of four long years of study for the Pharmacy students. A year of internship awaits them next year, so they were determined to have a good night with Saintz@MarkIII.
Tonight was the first night of our new lineup with Adam becoming a full time member as well as our new drummer Rod. A great night with one of our new songs 'The Horses - Darryl Braithwaite' a highlight for the students who had adopted this song for their course. It was sung with gusto. Thanks to Emily B for her hard work in coordinating the evening - everyone looked fabulous and enjoyed themselves! We also had our new photo taken which is on our front page and on our Facebook page - check it out https://www.facebook.com/saintzbendigo/ After a quiet couple of months, the gigs started up again in August with the Knights of the Southern Cross Debutante Balls - 2 this year, and a gig in Melbourne at the LIRA conference on a Wednesday night. All gigs went well with dancing a huge part of the evening - particularly the LIRA Conference where (after a fair old wait) the crowd were desperate for a dance, and dance they did!
Our new lead singer, Emily, took the stage for these three gigs and was sensational - particularly her favorite song "It's Raining Men" which she belted out really well. A couple of very different gigs in the last month - we started with the Family Day at the Strath Storm celebration day after they had won the Bendigo Football League Grand Final. Again, we were on the back of the truck and had a great time.
Last night we were privileged to play at a young lady's 21st at the Shamrock in the historic Federation Room. Again, a fantastic night with a great group of people!
